Why I admire Tantek Çelik
I have spoken with Tantek via social networking sites and he is just such a star. His contributions to the intarweb are beyond valuable and these continue daily. He’s a freaking genius, and despite how busy he certainly must be he still makes time to chat with lil ole me. Tantek inspires me to continue to study and learn and apply all the tools I study to be the standardista I want to be. <3
How I met Colin Farrell
At a gigantic hollywood party. We smoked cigarettes and talked for about an hour. There’s a tiny bit more to that story but it’s just for me. :)
How I met Eddie Izzard
I went to a DVD signing thing at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. By the time I got up to him to get a signature, talk and get a photo he’d been signing for 5 hours straight. Probably not the best time for a chat, but I’ll never forget it. I saw him last week too at the Coronet theatre. AWESOME!!! <3
A story about Ric Ocasek
He was dating Paulina Poriskova, who was shooting a movie I was on the set for. He spent all day on set the same day I was there. I said “Hi Ric!” He said hi. The end. (See Whoopi story).
A story about whoopi goldberg
We hung out a couple different occasions when she was in Baltimore with her bf at the time who was shooting a film. Whoopi was trying to hook me up with her bf’s son so she had me hang out on the set all day with him. Awesome.
